Best Localisation Partner 2007 for Ricoh

Yamagata Europe got the award for the best localisation partner 2007 for Ricoh Europe. We got most projects of all competitors, and also have the highest score.

SONY UK Camera Division Supplier of the Year 2005

During a ceremony on 7 November, 2006 in Cardiff, Yamagata Europe was elected as the 2005 Supplier of the Year by the Sony UK Camera Division.

Yamagata Europe supplies service and operation manuals for the Camera Division of Sony. The manuals are delivered in print and as CD, and are Green Partner compliant. Yamagata Europe started to work for the Camera Division at Sony UK in 1999. This was also the start-up of the division in the UK. SONY Green Partner program

Sony operates under the "Sony Environmental Vision": the guiding visions that established the principles of environmental management activities throughout the Sony Group worldwide. Its constituent elements are vision, commitment, and driving forces, which take account of climate change, natural resources, chemical substances, and natural environment.

Best Localization Partner 2004 (Ricoh ELC)

Yamagata Europe (formerly Ycomm Europe), a multilingual documentation services provider based in Ghent, Belgium, received the prestigious Best Localization Partner 2004 award from Ricoh's European Language Centre (ELC) in Amsterdam.

Ricoh ELC has implemented an advanced workflow for creating and managing the content of the technical documentation for its broad range of products. Ycomm Europe (currently Yamagata Europe) has developed innovative tools to measure and improve translation quality and reduce the time required for proofreading, which were seamlessly integrated into Ricoh's proprietary workflow. This award of excellence confirms that innovation and a customer-driven approach are essential elements for superior performance and lead toward true partnerships.

Ricoh expressed its appreciation by rating Ycomm Europe (currently Yamagata Europe) as "Best Localization Partner", based on the compiled results from project evaluations in 2004 that concern all aspects of the services provided by Ricoh’s certified localisation partners: project management & communication skills, engineering efficiency, DTP/translation quality and administration.
