Open communication

Efficient project management is paramount to the successful, on-time and within-budget completion of each localisation project. Our dedicated account managers have a linguistic background, rely on extensive experience in the localisation industry and have received thorough technical training. Each account manager acts as a single point of contact and is determined to communicate effectively with all parties involved. In close consultation with the customer, the most appropriate workflow will be outlined based on the project specifications, expected delivery schedule, purpose of the publication and format of the files. The Yamagata staff is proactive and values an open dialogue with the customer: transparent quotations yield realistic expectations and becoming thoroughly familiar with the subject well in advance contributes to technical accuracy and greater consistency with company specific terminology.

Automated workflows

Yamagata Europe firmly believes in automation as a means to speed up the process, reduce the costs and virtually eliminate the risk of making mistakes. All account managers employ a fully integrated project management system, YP Track. This allows them to easily keep track of all running and archived translation orders, including relevant project details. The system automates administrative and repetitive tasks, such as the creation of quotations, invoices and purchase orders, and makes all this data available to the customer via an extranet portal. The system is integrated with the suppliers database, linking specific projects to the appropriate translator's profile and guaranteeing continuity of resources. By defining customised workflows at the start of each new project, we continuously strive to optimise our processes and adopt the most appropriate, cost-efficient solutions attuned to the customer's needs.
